Meaning of angle of incidence in CVP analysis

Angle of incidence is obtained from geographical representation of sales and cost. When sales and output in units are plotted against cost and revenue the angle formed between total sales line and the total cost line at the break even point is called the angle of incidence.



Large angle of incidence indicate a high rate of profit while a narrow would show a relatively low rate of profit
